Our Story

When we lost Thor, we struggled to find a worthy way of commemorating our beautiful hero. We reasoned that others might feel the same — so fido.salon exists to help everyone keep beautiful memories of the dogs that matter close at hand. We begin with K9 crystals, engraved from cherished photographs.

Thor had an incredible soul and a real personality. Loved by everybody he encountered, he was the go-to puppy trainer and junior dog behavioural therapist. Unruly behaviour in the pack? Thor was your man. We never knew what he did or how he did it — no contact was necessary — and invariably those dogs loved and respected him. We all did.

Born in November 2017, his life was challenged at various points through his short years. He was robbed of his sight in summer 2025. He bravely worked through operations on both eyes at Christmas 2025, but fell ill only six months later. We lost him in July, and the hole he leaves will never heal.
